About me

The story behind Gabi Lost & Found

Hi, I’m Gabi.

I’m 30 years old, I’m Brazilian and Italian, and currently living in Ireland.

I love getting lost in unfamiliar streets, trying food I’ve never had before, learning about different cultures, hiking somewhere with an incredible view and experiencing those little moments that you simply can’t plan.

I’ve now visited 41 countries, and every trip has given me something different — sometimes an unforgettable memory, sometimes a lesson, and occasionally a very good travel disaster to laugh about later.

That’s why I created Gabi Lost & Found.

This isn’t a blog about having everything figured out. It’s about traveling while figuring life out along the way.

Here, I’ll share my real experiences, itineraries, travel tips, budgets, mistakes, unexpected situations and the places that made me stop and think, “Wow, I’m really lucky to be here.”

I want to share not only the beautiful, Instagram-worthy side of traveling, but also the reality behind it — the missed buses, confusing airports, bad weather, wrong turns, overpriced meals, exhausting hikes and all the little adventures that make a trip memorable.

If you’re someone who loves traveling, dreams about seeing the world, wants practical advice, or simply feels like you’re still trying to figure out where you belong in this world…

Welcome. You might be a little lost too. ❤️

41 countries down. A whole world still to explore. And a life still being figured out.
